I want to make Green!

 The past few weeks, the children have shown an interest in following a recipe while mixing ingredients, to compose a completed product.  During the afternoon, the children explored with making colored play dough from scratch with Ms. Davis. 

 

 Then the children took turns combining the ingredients into a pan before Ms. Davis heated the colored concoction. Once the mixture thickened and began to form into play dough, it was placed on wax paper for cooling.

 

   The children were fascinated by the bright color of the play dough in addition to its sweet candy-like smell. Pretending to make sandwiches and tacos for one another, the children enthusiastically explored with the dough.
