a circle the mom made and its play dough!

In a continuing exploration of following a recipe while
mixing ingredients, the children watched a video on “How to Make Colored Play Dough”.

Dillon drew a blue circular image of play
dough on his paper.

After watching the presenter
measure and mix ingredients needed to make the colored dough, Dillon drew a
picture depicting what he watched. “It’s a circle the mom made and it’s play
dough” said Dillon, as he drew a huge blue circular image on his
paper. The children continued their
exploration as they made the connection between the video and play dough
located on a nearby table. As he reenact what he watched Colin said, “I’m making all the play dough like the
lady… I’m holding and rolling it”.
