During the
week of May 20th, the teachers were keeping a close eye on the baby
mourning doves....
On Wednesday, the children were invited to climb up the ladder and talk about what they saw. “There’s two baby birds in there.” “They are so small, they must have hatched five minutes ago!” The children were invited to draw what they saw as well. Later, the children in both Ms. Szymaszek’s and Mrs. McAuliffe’s class were invited to the seminar room to watch a video of the second baby dove hatching, captured by Ms. Allie on Wednesday morning.
