is that painting?

On Thursday,
May 25, 2012, the children created their own Picasso inspired images. First, the children looked at the prints of
the Picasso paintings for inspiration, and talked about what they saw. “It looks like a lady.” “That one is a bunch of squigglies.” Using
black markers on white paper, the children drew their own abstract pictures of
people. The following day, some of the
children added water color to their artwork.
